Rev. Eric Rodes
Pastor (Rector)
Originally from West Virginia, Eric is a 2004 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary. After growing up in the Evangelical world and spending 10 years as a pastor in an independent church, Eric sensed a calling into Anglicanism. He walked the Canterbury Trail and was ordained both deacon and priest in 2014. After serving as the Assistant Rector for four years in a vibrant and young Anglican congregation in Grove City, PA, Eric accepted the call to become the Rector at Christ the Redeemer in 2018.
Eric is deeply influenced by the Protestant Reformation's emphasis on grace and faith alone for the redemption of humanity, the centrality of the cross of Jesus in the work of God, and the necessity of God's grace for daily living.
Married in 1998, Eric and Beth have three beautiful and growing daughters. Beth has worked for many years as an educator. When he isn't working in the ministry, the Rodes family enjoys family game nights, camping, archery, and kayaking. There are lots of girly things too, but Eric stays away from "spa night".

Cody was ordained to the diaconate in Fall 2025 after several years of youth ministry and discernment at Christ Church in Plano, Texas. Having sensed a call to the pastorate in his teenage years, Cody worked and volunteered in churches throughout college before discovering the beauty and wonder of the gospel afresh in the Anglican tradition. The apparent glory of God in the Communion Liturgy has continually been the means by which God has drawn Cody deeper into His love and grace.
Cody takes great joy in teaching Redeemer’s animated youth group. Cody, his wife
Madi, and their son Ezra followed the Lord’s call to Pennsylvania in December of 2024. They’re prayer here has been for a more connected, communal life—one that God has answered decisively at Redeemer.
Cody loves reading and writing fiction, mountain biking, and sleeping under the stars. Madi and Ezra are his greatest joys in life. He takes great pride in dominating youth group games of ultimate frisbee and relishes a quality church potluck.
